Impact of Coronavirus in 2020

3 July 2020 - We have a number of properties available for hire in July and August 2020 due to cancellations or holiday postponements. Please call for specific details and prices: 01692 630297

Update - 23rd June 2020

We are very pleased that the government has allowed us to open from the 4th July and look forward to welcoming our guests soon. We will contact each customer directly to discuss their booking, new protocols, and balance of payments. Those people with a booking in July can expect to hear from us during the period 24-26 June.

Update - 18th June 2020

Today we expected an update from the government indicating when self-catering accommodation will be allowed to re-open. We are disappointed that little was said in the daily briefing - the minister confirmed this is still being "looked at". The earliest we expect to open is 4th July but this is still subject to confirmation that the government will move us to Step 3 on the roadmap for social distancing measures.

Update - 16th June 2020

For now, our customers are requested not to send balance of payments that fall due.

As of today the government has NOT given us permission to open holiday accommodation - despite some news reporting and social media stating otherwise.

We expect an update from the government on Thursday 18th June and it is suggested that this update MAY provide permission to open from 4th July. As soon as we have been given permission to open, and have also been instructed by the government on cleaning protocols, we will contact our customers to provide an update on their holiday. At this point we will also request balance of payments due. We continue to hope for a positive update, and if safe, look forward to seeing our guests enjoy their holiday in summer 2020.

Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

A message from Robert King MBE - Owner of King Line Cottages

We understand that this is a difficult time for our guests and many are concerned about the potential impact of Coronavirus on holidays booked for this year. As a provider of accommodation for hire, we are currently required by the government to close, and remain so until further notice.

Balance of Hire Payments Due

Please do NOT send balance payments as requested on your booking confirmation statement. Your holiday will not be at risk of automatic cancellation (as originally written before Coronavirus).

Recommencement of Cottage and Lodge Hires in 2020
